All UCA employees are automatically added to the Admin-l listserv upon employment. Any time the UCA PD issues a safety or crime alert that information will be sent to all UCA employees via the Admin-l listserv.
Student Cub Accounts
Upon enrollment the I.T. Department issues each student an email account on the UCA Cub student email system. UCA PD will send safety or crime alerts to UCA students via the Cub email system.
Safe@UCA E-mail Listserv
The UCA PD has established an email listserv for members of the University community who do not have access to the Admin-l or Cub listservs. Parents, visitors, neighbors, or students who may not check their Cub accounts often are welcome to opt in to the Safe@UCA email listserv with their personal email address.
ALERTXPRESS
Through a partnership with the Arkansas Crime Information Center, the UCA Police Department has made available to the UCA community a telephone mass notification system called AlertXpress which is provided by Appriss, Inc. AlertXpress is used to notify University administrators and key faculty and staff of information critical to safety and security on campus.
UCA faculty and staff members may register to receive AlertXpress notifications through the UCA Police Department's channel in the URSA Resources tab.
